With stunning views and warm summer air the French Alps are the idea place to unwind and where yoga can be practised in beautiful surroundings. 

Icebreaker Chalets have teamed up with David Crandon, a qualified and experience Yoga and Sports Massage professional, to create yoga and activity packages of 4 to 7 days.

Morning and evening Yoga sessions mixed with guided mountain walks and local activities such as white water rafting or mountain biking make this an ideal retreat for anyone looking to experience the best of the Summer in the Alps.

Icebreaker Chalets are offering tailored packages of varying lengths that can include as much or as little activity as desired. 

Mixed with amazing healthy cooking its the perfect location to come and enjoy the best of the Alps.

The Chalets offer a touch of Luxury with a large Jacuzzi and Sauna along with all the high quality bed linen, towels and dressing gowns.

Hathia and Therapeutic Yoga are practised on a daily basis.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the psychological process of bringing one's attention to experiences occurring in the present moment, which can be developed through the practice of meditation and other training

White Water Rafting

We offer white water rafting down the Isere River.  A full afternoon out with qualified instructors this is something not to be missed

Mountain Biking

With a variety of lifts open in resort the thrill of down hill mountain biking in the Alps is something not to be missed.  Equipment hired locally and a guide is available on request 

Fully catered packages

Afternoon activities

6 Day / 7 Nights Yoga and Activity Retreats

2 days Intense Yoga and Meditation

The first two days of the week is filled with Yoga, meditation and mindfulness training.

3 Days Yoga and activities

Morning Yoga sessions followed by daily activities including white water rafting, mountain biking, horse riding, lake swimming etc. Or simply stay on the large sun terrace and enjoy the views and Jacuzzi

3 Meals a Day

Icebreaker Chalets Yoga Expert

Dave Crandon

David is a fun committed, yoga alliance certified yoga teacher who specializes is therapeutic, hatha, & Vishnu Devananda yoga.

David has studied yoga all over the world and trained at Siddhi Yoga in Dharamsala North India under Mahindra Prasad as well as studying for a number of months in Sri Lanka.

He has a Sports Therapy background and as such uses his anatomical background to identify and focus in on strength and flexibility imbalances and then correcting these imbalances through the wide range of yoga asanas with a focus on alignment and using props in order to progress your practice safely and give you a personalized touch allowing you to reap the long term rewards from your daily & weekly practice. This is a technique that he has used for many years now for a speedier rehabilitation of his Sports Therapy clients and for long term injury prevention.

In addition to this David is a big advocate of meditation and the fantastic benefits that come from this practice on peoples every day lives. This goes hand in hand with various mindfulness practices that can have a hugely positive influence on us all.
