With 70% of the ski area above 2,000 metres, Paradiski offers extensive high-altitude skiing throughout the winter season. From Les Coches, you can explore the whole of La Plagne or ski towards Peisey-Vallandry and cross to Les Arcs aboard the spectacular Vanoise Express.

From Les Coches, you can spend the day exploring La Plagne or cross the Vanoise Express into Peisey-Vallandry and Les Arcs for even more variety.

The Vanoise Express – Linking La Plagne & Les Arcs
The Vanoise Express is the spectacular double-decker cable car connecting La Plagne with Peisey-Vallandry and Les Arcs, bringing the two sides of Paradiski together.
For guests staying with Icebreaker Chalets in Les Coches, it opens up an enormous amount of skiing. You can ski from the Les Coches side towards the Vanoise Express, cross the valley and spend the day exploring Peisey-Vallandry and Les Arcs before returning towards La Plagne.
The cable car crosses the Ponturin valley in less than four minutes, travelling across a remarkable 1,824-metre unsupported span with no intermediate pylons and reaching approximately 380 metres above the valley floor.
Together, the linked resorts give you access to 425km of pistes and more than 260 runs across Paradiski.

La Plagne – Our Side of Paradiski
Staying in Les Coches puts you directly into the La Plagne ski area, with around 225km of pistes to explore before you even cross the Vanoise Express into Les Arcs.
From Les Coches, the lift system takes you quickly up through Plan Bois and towards the higher slopes of La Plagne, giving you access to a huge variety of skiing for all abilities.
The terrain ranges from gentle blues and long cruising runs to challenging reds, blacks and high-altitude skiing. You can spend an entire day exploring La Plagne or head towards the Vanoise Express and continue into Peisey-Vallandry and Les Arcs.
One of the great advantages of Les Coches is that you can enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional Alpine village while having direct access to one of France's largest ski areas.

ESF offers group and private ski and snowboard lessons for children and adults, with options for different ages and ability levels.
Rather than booking lessons through Icebreaker, we provide our guests with direct links to the local ski schools, allowing you to check the latest lesson times, availability and prices and make your booking directly with them.
We recommend booking ski lessons well in advance, particularly during school holidays and peak weeks when lessons can fill quickly.

We make organising your ski and snowboard equipment as easy as possible.
Icebreaker Chalets works with local ski-hire shops in Les Coches, and the most convenient shop will depend on which chalet or apartment you are staying in.
Once your accommodation is booked, we'll provide you with a direct booking link to the ski-hire shop best suited to your property, so you can reserve your equipment before you arrive.
Pre-booking your equipment means everything can be organised in advance, leaving you more time to get settled in and out onto the slopes.
