Getting to your Icebreaker chalet should be as straightforward as possible. We can help arrange airport transfers directly to Les Coches and La Roche, La Plagne, for individuals, families and larger groups.
We work with trusted transfer companies and can request suitable options based on your arrival airport, flight times and group size. Once you’ve chosen the transfer that works for you, we can organise the booking as part of your Icebreaker holiday arrangements.
Whether you’re flying into Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble or Chambéry, simply send us your flight details and the number of people travelling and we’ll help you find the most suitable transfer option for your group.
Travelling with skis, snowboards or young children? Let us know when you enquire so that the correct vehicle and any additional requirements can be arranged in advance.

Geneva Airport is one of the most popular arrival points for ski holidays in La Plagne, with a wide choice of flights from the UK and across Europe.
The road journey from Geneva Airport to Les Coches is approximately 140 km and around 2 hours 10 minutes in normal driving conditions.
Icebreaker can help arrange a private or group transfer to take you directly from Geneva Airport to your chalet in Les Coches or La Roche.
Chambéry is the closest of the main airports serving Les Coches and La Plagne, making it a convenient option when suitable flights are available.
The journey from Chambéry Airport to Les Coches is approximately 112 km and around 1 hour 25 minutes in normal conditions.
Its shorter transfer time can make Chambéry particularly attractive for families and groups wanting to get to the chalet and onto the mountain as quickly as possible.
Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport is another excellent option for reaching Les Coches, with a large choice of international and European flights.
The road journey to Les Coches is approximately 187–188 km and around 2 hours 10 minutes in normal driving conditions.
We can help arrange a transfer from Lyon Airport directly to your Icebreaker chalet, with vehicle options suitable for different group sizes.
Grenoble Alpes-Isère Airport is another useful gateway to the French Alps, particularly during the winter ski season.
The road journey between Grenoble Airport and Les Coches is approximately 178 km and around 2 hours 5 minutes in normal driving conditions.
If Grenoble works best for your flights, we can help organise your onward transfer to Les Coches or La Roche.
Transfer times are approximate and can vary considerably depending on traffic, weather and road conditions, particularly on peak winter Saturdays.
Once your flights are booked, send us your flight numbers, arrival and departure times and the number of people travelling. We’ll contact our transfer partners and help find a suitable option for your group.

If you’re travelling alone, as a couple or in a smaller group, a shared airport transfer can be a cost-effective alternative to booking a private vehicle.
Several companies operate scheduled shared ski transfers from airports including Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble during the winter season.
Ben’s Bus offers shared services into La Plagne and the Tarentaise valley, including options for guests travelling onwards to Les Coches.
SnowDrone also operates shared transfers from Geneva with valley stops including Landry, depending on the service and date.
For Altibus, I would link it as another public transport/coach option, but I wouldn't state a specific Les Coches route until we've confirmed the exact 2026/27 timetable.
Travelling by train can also be a convenient way to reach Les Coches. Landry railway station is down in the valley below the resort and provides a useful arrival point for guests continuing up to Les Coches.
Rail connections are available from Geneva to Landry, although they normally involve one or more changes.Current SNCF schedules show multiple Geneva–Landry journeys each day, with the fastest connections taking around 3 hours 40 minutes.
Guests travelling from Lyon can also use the French rail network to reach the Tarentaise valley. When planning a rail journey, we recommend checking the timetable for your particular travel date, as services and connections vary.
Once you arrive at Landry station, Icebreaker Chalets can help organise a local taxi to take you and your luggage directly up to your chalet in Les Coches. We can also arrange the return journey to Landry station at the end of your holiday.
Simply send us your train arrival and departure details in advance and we can help coordinate the local station transfer for your group.
